This clip marks my eleven month progress playing drums. So far, I am self taught.
The audio in this clip is directly out of my Roland TD12 V drums module into my Sony DV deck with no external processing.
The sounds of this kit are from one of my custom programmed kits optimised for use with brushes (notice the snare sweep sound) and can be downloaded from my forum on my website at
SuperPuss.com.au
The cage is my own design and consists of parts from two Roland MDS-3C racks and some black aluminium square tubing cut to size.
I have done a DIY electronic conversion to my Rototoms which will be updated soon with Pintech mesh heads. The four little white drums to the right are percussion triggers built from plumbing parts, self adhesive felt and a mouse mat. They are connected to a Roland TMC-6 expander which is connected to my TD12.
My PD8 toms are soon to be replaced with eight new 8 x 4 inch toms with Roland mesh heads and my own DIY electronics.
The China, left crash and middle splash are all from Kit Toys and respond extremely well.
